The UK continues to gear up for the Second series of Doctor Who.
1) The Radio Times http://www.radiotimes.com currently has Strictly Dance Fever scheduled to air from 6:15 to 7:15PM on 15 April with Doctor Who's exact broadcast time not listed yet. Doctor Who will probably premiere at 7:15PM that night, as BBC Three now has the season premiere of Doctor Who Confidential listed at 8PM. BBC Three currently has the repeat of the 2nd series premiere (New Earth) listed for Sunday 16 April at 7PM. Final verifications of broadcast times should come out in the next few days. Doctor Who's start time is also up in the air on Saturday 22 April, as an FA Cup Semi Final match between Chelsea and Liverpool starts at 5:15PM and will likely run past 7PM. After last year's special case where 12 of the 13 episodes premiered at the same time (7PM Saturday), we should assume that the time will be more fluid this year, like it always was on Saturdays in the past.

2) The kids magazine show Totally Doctor Who will air at least 4 times during the week starting 13 April:
Thursday 5PM - BBC One
Friday 6:30PM - CBBC
Saturday 6:30PM - CBBC
Monday 1PM - CBBC
If you don't know which channel is which, CBBC uses the same frequency as BBC Three between 6AM & 7PM. Cbeebies uses the same frequency as BBC Four between 6AM & 7PM.

3) Dr Who & The Daleks (1965 movie starring Peter Cushing and Roberta Tovey) will air on BBC Two on Thursday 13 April at 11:10AM as part of the buildup for the new series.

4) BBC Three's http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree Doctor Who Night for Sunday 9 April consists of a new 1 hour Doctor Who Confidential Special - One Year On - at 7PM, The Christmas Invasion at 8PM, and 2003 classic series documentary The Story of Doctor Who at 9PM.

5) BBC Four http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour concludes their broadcast of the Jon Pertwee story The Green Death tonight at 7:10PM. BBC Four has edited the 6 episode story into 3 50 minute episodes by combining cliffhangers.

6) BBC Three and UKTV Gold are both running reruns of Series One, as detailed in the listings below. BBC Three airs 2 episodes per night weeknights (and one episode on Saturday 8 April) from 6 April to 13 April at 7PM. UKTV Gold is airing the series as daytime marathons on 8 and 9 April.

7) The first of the TARDISodes is online to view or to download to your cellular/mobile phone. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho for details. The first one is 41 seconds long and ties into the events of New Earth. The second TARDISode should go online on 15 April previewing Tooth and Claw.

8) Beginning with One Year On, Doctor Who Confidential is now hosted by Mark Gatiss, author of The Unquiet Dead. One Year On is a one hour special, regular episodes will be 30 minutes long like last year.
UKTV Gold's advance schedule for May shows that classic Doctor Who is leaving their schedule, at least for the moment. The Twin Dilemma (first Colin Baker story) will air on 6 May and The Trial Of A Time Lord: The Ultimate Foe (last Colin Baker episodes) will air on 7 May. And then the show is replaced on the weekend schedule. There may be a bidding war for the repeats in the UK, as the ratings had been increasing for UKTV Gold's early Saturday and Sunday broadcasts. To be continued, no doubt.
Finland - YLE's run of Series One of Doctor Who on channel TV2 is expected to begin this fall (August/September).
Netherlands - NOS (owner of Ned 3, who have the rights to Series One of Doctor Who) has purchased Series Two now, expecting to run it in the Autumn. NOS' Ned 3 has not yet aired Series One - hopefully this purchase means that Series One will start shortly.
BBC Prime http://www.bbcprime.com has updated their FAQ information about Doctor Who for both the Europe/Middle East and the Asia services. It now states "We have not secured the rights to the new series but we are hopeful we will later in the year, so please keep an eye on the listings for details of possible future transmissions".
KBTC/KCKA 28,15 Tacoma/Centralia, WA http://www.kbtc.org is returning Doctor Who (1963 to 1989) to their schedule and the Seattle area this month, 16 months after they were unable to renew their contract during BBC Worldwide America's efforts to sell the new series to a cable network. The episodes are available to US stations that want to buy them again. It is expected that KBTC will air 2 episodes twice on Saturday nights once Doctor Who settles into a regular schedule. For now, their April listings indicate that they will relaunch the show with a pledge night on Saturday 29 April. The Three Doctors will air from 6:30 to 9PM. When KBTC lost the rights in December 2004, the last story to air was The Mutants. The first regular broadcast this time is expected to be the following story - The Time Monster, with the rest* of the Pertwee stories airing afterwards.
*Certain stories will probably not be available due to Dalek
contract rights from 2003 affecting repeats of the classic series
around the world which STILL have not been worked out. 2 years and 9
months now - it is well past the point of being ridiculous.
As of this writing, SciFi http://www.scifi.com has not scheduled any additional showings for Aliens of London (Series 1 Episode 4) beyond the original 3 planned. This is the first episode not to get extra showings and a reminder to viewers to catch one of the regularly scheduled airings, as you can't assume SciFi will throw extra airings on during the week. Doctor Who Series One continues Fridays at 9PM & Midnight Eastern, Sundays at 11PM Eastern.
The BBC Press Office http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice and C21 Media
http://www.c21media.net often announce when a Doctor Who
international sale occurs. Worth keeping an eye on, just in case.
